A closer look at Agenlify
Agenlify is a free directory of about 450 AI agents and tools, organized by task. Each listing covers pricing type, setup needs and documented limits, with links to official sources and a review date. It says it has no paid placements or affiliate links. Browse in English or Chinese without an account; Google sign-in saves products.
Start from the task
Many AI tool directories are long lists sorted by popularity or upvotes. Agenlify starts from the job. Pick customer service, marketing, sales, small business or data analysis and you get a short list with a one-line note on fit. On the customer-support page, Intercom Fin is pitched at teams already using Intercom or a supported help desk, Tidio Lyro at small shops answering FAQs over chat, and Gorgias at Shopify stores with order questions. Those lines are the useful part. They help you rule tools out before you open a dozen tabs.
The full directory covers about 450 products, with filters for setup (ready to use or needs configuration), product type (agent, AI-assisted workflow, tool, framework or model) and free access. Search matches product names and a fixed vocabulary of tasks in English and Chinese. It isn't a chatbot, and when it can't match a task it shows related guides instead of guessing.
What "checked" means here
The about page is unusually direct about its limits. A listing marked as checked means the team read the product's official pages or documentation and linked them with a review date. It says reading a product page is not testing a product, and that it doesn't publish star ratings, testimonials or a blanket tested badge. The case studies, such as fixing a bug or analyzing a spreadsheet, name the exact tool, input, output and how much a person had to step in, and are presented as one run, not a benchmark. The site also discloses that AI research assistants helped collect candidate products.
On money, the about page says sponsored placement wouldn't affect organic results and that no paid placements or affiliate links are currently included. Ties in results are broken alphabetically.
Accounts and privacy
Browsing needs no account. Signing in with Google stores your Google ID, email and name in Cloudflare D1, along with your saved products, until you remove them or ask for deletion. The privacy policy says Agenlify doesn't request Gmail or Drive access. Product submissions are kept privately for review and deleted after 180 days. Analytics are off unless you allow them. One quirk to know is that search queries appear in the page URL, so the site warns against typing anything confidential into search.
