A closer look at AntConquest
An online ant colony strategy game with resource production, territory, research, trading and alliances.
More land, more to defend
AntConquest ties colony growth to territory. Its FAQ says harvesters collect food and materials, and production grows with the number of harvesters and the land available. Hunting adds territory; attacks on rival colonies can take it too. Losing a defence can cost land and resources.
Research and buildings unlock stronger units. The guide describes different attacking and defending units and a combat simulator for planning a formation. Picking units matters as well as producing more of them.
A colony among other colonies
Alliances add coordinated attacks and advice from other players. The public homepage also describes a market for exchanging resources and units. This is a game for someone who wants to return to a developing colony and deal with rival players, with production timers and longer-term plans to consider.
It runs in a browser, and the site advertises support for phones and tablets. The server selector marks the current world as beta. The public FAQ lists French, English and Arabic, with automatic translation for game chat.
Free play and optional extras
The FAQ says no payment is required to play. It also describes a currency called Phéromones Royales, available through play, voluntary rewarded videos or purchases, and an optional Premium Battle Pass.
The shop is described as cosmetic, but the same FAQ lists construction and research time bonuses among Battle Pass rewards. It does not say which track contains those bonuses or give cash prices for the currency and pass. Check the current reward tracks before buying.
Creating an account requires a nickname, email and password. The privacy page lists IP addresses and game data among the information collected, and gives a contact route for access or deletion requests.
