A closer look at Avie
WhatsApp reception and appointment management for Brazilian clinics, with calendar integrations and staff handoff.
From a WhatsApp question to an appointment
Avie's scheduling documentation describes checking the clinic's calendar before offering an appointment and checking again before confirming it. A chosen slot is held briefly while registration is completed. If it has become unavailable, the conversation goes to staff with a written reason. An appointment discussed in chat must still match the calendar. The second check is the useful detail in this sequence. These are documented behaviors, not results from a live booking test.
The service operates in Brazilian Portuguese on the clinic's existing WhatsApp number. Clinics can define subjects that always go to a person, and staff can take over a conversation. The public examples include handing a request for a medical report to the team rather than answering it as a routine scheduling question.
Check the calendar fit
The integration page names Google Calendar and Feegow as supported systems and explicitly says other practice-management systems do not have a direct integration. It also distinguishes appointment management from reading or writing an external system's clinical records or billing data. Avie's own record and payment tools belong to a higher plan.
That distinction matters for a clinic already using several systems. A calendar connection does not mean its full patient-record workflow will move with it. The privacy policy says Avie may process patient messages, registration details and appointment data, with infrastructure and AI providers involved in operating the service. This note does not establish its security controls or suitability for a clinic's data obligations.
The setup cost is part of the purchase
The pricing page checked October 7, 2026 lists Avie Atende at R$1,350 per month for up to 1,000 patients, plus a one-time R$2,700 setup fee. It includes appointment reminders, a waiting list and a clinic website with booking. The clinic chooses which optional messaging programs to turn on.
Avie Cuida adds the service's patient-record and payment tools; Avie Cresce adds managed digital-presence work. Both require a quote. Google advertising spend is separate from the Cresce plan.
