A closer look at Cashflow Calendar

Cashflow Calendar is a browser tool for recording planned income and expenses and viewing projected daily balances.

The gap before a payment arrives

Cashflow Calendar's public example begins with a positive balance, drops below zero after a cluster of bills and returns above zero when a client payment arrives later. The calendar puts that gap on specific days. For someone paid irregularly, that is a useful view that a single monthly total can miss.

You supply the starting balance, income and expenses. Each dated entry contributes to the projected balance, and the calendar flags an expected shortfall. The example checked for this note was a sample plan, not a test with real financial records. Its figures do not establish forecast accuracy.

A plan you keep up to date

There is no automatic bank or payment-account sync. The site offers manual records and imports for WeChat and Alipay CSV files, with CSV export for taking records elsewhere. An expected payment that arrives late still needs your attention; the projection follows the information entered.

Starter is free and covers a six-month forecast. The homepage lists Pro at $9.90 as a one-time payment, adding a longer forecast, multiple ledgers and late-payment scenarios. Check the purchase screen for current terms. The core calendar is enough to assess whether a dated balance view suits your planning before paying.

Where the records go

The privacy policy says financial records use local and cloud storage. Avoid assuming that the lack of a bank connection makes entries local-only. This is a planning and recording tool, not financial advice or a guarantee that a future balance will be available.
