A closer look at ChessCore

Chess-academy software for student records, schedules, attendance and billing, with Stockfish analysis and staff-reviewed AI family messages.

Keep the class records together

When a student changes classes, the roster, attendance record and family bill can all need attention. ChessCore groups those jobs in an academy workspace. Its public pages describe recurring batches, attendance, family records and billing, with dashboards for academy owners and coaches.

The game workflow sits alongside the administration. Stockfish supplies evaluations, and AI turns the available game and academy information into explanations and progress drafts. The pricing page lists PGN uploads and a game library, with platform synchronization depending on the plan.

Decide which messages go out

AI-written messages for families wait for staff to review and send them. Routine class and fee reminders work differently. When the academy switches those on, fixed templates go out automatically without AI-written text. That distinction matters when deciding what a parent will receive without another staff action.

The privacy policy describes masking names and contact details before several AI requests. Selected-text rewriting and class transcription are exceptions. Selected passages go as entered, and recorded audio goes unmasked to a speech-to-text provider. Provider training and retention terms aren't published there. No student records were imported, AI output assessed or family messages sent for this note.

Price it against your roster

The prices checked on October 13, 2026 are in US dollars. Core covers up to 100 students at $89 billed monthly, or $69 a month paid annually as $828 upfront. A Free plan is described for a small roster without a credit card. The page doesn't state its student limit.

Every plan has the same daily AI allowance. A higher student-capacity tier doesn't buy a larger one, so compare the roster and billing features you need as well as the headline price.
