A closer look at HSKWin

HSKWin is an HSK exam prep site built on the 2026 HSK 3.0 syllabus. It runs full mock papers for levels 1 to 7-9 on per-section timers, scores them on hand-in and uses AI to mark written and spoken answers. Each account gets one free timed mock. Monthly costs $5.99, and Lifetime is $59.99 during an offer that ends November 30.

Which HSK are you sitting?

HSKWin runs full-length HSK mock exams, and the most useful thing on its site may be its answer to that question. HSK 3.0 is the revised exam, with nine levels and an 11,000-word list, and every paper on HSKWin is built to it. According to the site's FAQ, though, only HSK 7-9 is examined on 3.0 today. Levels 1 to 6 got a new syllabus in November 2025, but CTI, which runs the exam, hasn't said which sitting will be the first to use it. The site's advice is to treat a 2026 booking at those levels as 2.0 unless your registration record says otherwise.

HSKWin is upfront about this. Each level page says which standard that level is examined under now and when that was last checked, and the homepage showed a check dated September 14, 2026. For an HSK 7-9 candidate the papers match the exam. Someone booked into HSK 3 next month is practicing on the newer syllabus, which may not be the paper they sit.

A mock that behaves like the exam

A paper runs in exam order, and each section has its own countdown and closes when time is up. Listening clips follow the official pattern, at exam speed and played as many times as your level plays them. The clock runs on the server, so a refresh or a second tab doesn't stop it, and pausing a paper hides its questions.

The papers are not past exams. The FAQ says official past papers are copyrighted and 3.0 has none yet, so HSKWin writes its own against the published syllabus. Scores come back on hand-in with section marks and a pass probability, which the site calls an estimate rather than a promise. Missed questions go into a mistake book grouped by section and question type, and they stay there until you mark them learned. Grouping by question type makes a pattern easier to spot across several papers.

Writing marks, speaking scores and price

AI marks writing answers on content, language and structure, and ties each deduction to the sentence that caused it. You can flag a mark you disagree with. Spoken answers for the HSKK, the separate speaking test, get a score as well. The privacy policy says written work goes to an AI provider and recordings go to a speech-recognition provider for transcription. Only the submission and the task prompt are sent, and the audio is deleted once it has been transcribed.

A free account gets one full timed mock, the level test, and one AI essay mark and one speaking score a day. The free mock shows your score and a marked answer sheet, while explanations and listening scripts need a plan. Monthly costs $5.99 and includes three timed mocks a month. Lifetime is $59.99 once during an offer the pricing section says ends November 30, against a regular $79.99, with the same three mocks a month. Both plans come with a 7-day refund.
