A closer look at Prop Firm Consistency
Prop Firm Consistency is a free browser calculator for funded-trading accounts. Enter your period profit and best day, or paste daily P&L, and it shows your best-day percentage, the profit total the rule requires and the gap left. Presets cover 97 plan rules across 22 firms, each linked to the firm's own help page and checked October 12, 2026.
What the calculator answers
Consistency rules are easy to state and fiddly to apply. If your plan caps your best day at 40% of period profit, a $1,800 day inside $4,800 of profit passes at 37.5%. Add a losing day, or a bigger new best day, and the answer moves. Prop Firm Consistency does that arithmetic and shows the working. The site's own example prints $1,800 ÷ $4,800 × 100 = 37.50% under the result.
You can work from two numbers in Quick check, or switch to daily P&L and enter or paste each day's closed profit or loss. Settings cover the details that change the answer: profit kept from earlier periods, an all-time largest day, whether the limit means "at or below" or "strictly below", and whether the denominator is net profit, profitable days only or winning trades only.
Presets and where they come from
The firm directory lists 22 firms, including Topstep, FTMO, Apex Trader Funding and The5ers, along with the plans and stages each rule applies to. Several entries say some plans have no percentage limit at all. Every preset links to the firm's own help article, and the page shows when those sources were checked, October 12, 2026.
That date is worth noticing. Firms change rules, and the site's disclaimer says the official terms for your account version decide. Treat a preset as a starting point and open the linked source if anything looks off. Custom mode covers any rule that isn't listed.
Who it suits
It's for traders working through an evaluation or a funded payout cycle who want to know how far they are from a consistency target before the next session. The privacy page says inputs aren't sent to the server and aren't kept in cookies or local storage by default. Save downloads a file to your own device instead. There's no signup, and the site states it isn't owned by any of the firms it lists.
What it won't tell you is whether a payout will be approved. Drawdown limits, minimum trading days and other conditions sit outside the calculation, and the disclaimer says the required-profit figure isn't a recommendation to take more risk.
