Project overview
The short version
AyniCam turns an iPhone on a dashboard mount into a dashcam. It runs object detection on the phone, drawing labels over cars, people, bicycles and traffic lights, and keeps a rolling buffer so you can save a short clip after something happens. The free version saves up to 20 seconds at 720p with a watermark. Pro, listed at US$9.99 a month, saves up to 30 seconds at 1080p and can include microphone audio. It needs iOS 17 or later, and it isn't a full-trip recorder or a collision-avoidance system.
