Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

FitLifeBud is a meal-planning app for people who are tired of deciding what to eat, not for people who want to log every bite. You pick a goal (lose, maintain or gain weight), enter your body stats and list the foods you like and the ones you avoid, whether for allergies, ethics or taste. The app's AI then plans a full week of meals with the calories shown on each. On the Pro and Premium tiers, each meal lists its ingredients with exact amounts, and the week becomes one grocery list with repeated items merged and sorted by aisle. You can also regenerate the plan: today's meals stay put and everything from tomorrow onward is replaced, with the list updating to match. The app is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android, with Basic, Pro and Premium subscriptions whose prices are shown in the app, and annual plans start with a seven-day free trial. It's made by a single independent developer, and it says plainly that it isn't medical or nutrition advice.
