Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

HEIC to JPG, at heictojpg.im, solves a small but common problem: iPhones save photos as HEIC, while many Windows PCs, school portals, printers and older apps still want JPG. Choose one or several HEIC or HEIF files and conversion starts automatically in the browser tab, with a queue showing each file. Download finished JPGs one at a time or the whole set as a ZIP, and a failed file doesn't stop the rest. Pixel size stays the same and JPG quality defaults to 92, adjustable up for print or down for email. The page and its privacy policy say photo files are decoded and encoded locally and not sent to the site's servers, and there is no account, ads or paid batch limit. The site says it doesn't promise to keep every EXIF field.
