Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

NeonLingo turns ordinary browsing into vocabulary practice. On a foreign-language page, you select a word you don't know and the translation appears in place, with no copy-paste or extra tab. The word is saved to a wordbook automatically and highlighted wherever it shows up on later pages, so you keep meeting it in real sentences. A bilingual reading mode works the other way round, replacing a few words on pages in your own language with your target language, picked to sit just above your level. Signing in adds FSRS flashcards that sync across devices, and there's word translation for documents too. It covers 30 languages. The free plan saves up to 200 words, and Premium and Premium+ add DeepL and AI translation, phonetics and higher monthly limits. The privacy policy names Taaakooo Tech LLC as the operator, lists its providers, including OpenAI for AI translation, and says new accounts with a verified email are subscribed to its emails by default.
