PDF Duplicate Review.
PDF Duplicate Review answers a records-cleanup question: which of these PDFs are the same document?
Project overview
The short version
PDF Duplicate Review answers a records-cleanup question: which of these PDFs are the same document? You pick a batch of files and the extension reports two kinds of candidates. Exact copies are byte-identical files found by SHA-256 hash, even when their names or folders differ. Text candidates have the same page count and the same normalized text page by page, which the site is careful to say doesn't prove they look the same, since images, signatures, annotations, form values and layout may still differ. Results export as a CSV listing groups, skipped files, errors and the reason for each group. The tool only reads. It doesn't delete, rename or rewrite anything, and it doesn't do OCR or image comparison. The free version handles batches of up to 10 PDFs with no account, and Pro raises that to 250 for €49 once, tax included. The site says PDF contents, filenames and hashes stay in the extension and aren't sent with the license check.
