A closer look at 3DRoll

A 3D browser dice roller with classic, polyhedral and custom faces, plus locks and a local roll history.

Keep a few dice on the table

For a tabletop turn that needs different dice, 3DRoll can put several types in the same throw. The browser table supports up to six dice, with classic faces and polyhedral options. Its guide describes holding to charge a throw and double-tapping a die to lock it for the next roll. The lock is a practical detail for games that let you keep some results and reroll the rest.

Put a prompt on each face

Custom dice can use words, emoji or photos. Ready-made story dice offer objects, characters and places, so a pair could supply the starting pieces for a short story. Other presets cover chores and everyday decisions. Some party presets involve alcohol; the operator limits those to adults of legal drinking age.

A setup link has boundaries

3DRoll is free, without an account or download. The privacy policy says settings, custom dice and the last 30 rolls are saved on the device. Sharing a setup includes the text on custom faces in the link, but excludes photos. That matters if a picture is essential to the die you want someone else to use.

The policy also describes aggregate daily usage counts and technical data handled by Cloudflare.
