A closer look at Kondor File Manager
Kondor is a Finder alternative for Mac users who work across two locations at once. Its public site shows dual-pane navigation, saved workspaces, quick and deep search, large-file previews, archive tools, batch rename previews, hashes, folder comparison and sync planning, remote connectors, and image or video conversion. The site offers a free Lite tier and lists Pro at $19 per year.
What caught my eye
Kondor's best idea is visibility. A user can keep the source, destination, preview, and planned action in view instead of hopping between Finder windows and separate utilities. That could make complex file work easier to follow. ProjectRadar reviewed the public site, guides, screenshots, and support material only, so app behavior, remote connections, signing, and notarization remain unverified here.
How Kondor File Manager works
Kondor places two file locations side by side and adds previews, saved workspaces, search, archive tools, hashes, and batch actions.
The public site also describes folder comparison, sync planning, remote connectors, and image or video conversion.
Who might find it useful
It fits Mac users whose file work has outgrown one Finder window at a time.
People relying on remote storage or bulk changes should test those exact workflows before moving important files.
Closing context
Kondor puts the moving parts of a file operation in one view, which is a sensible alternative to juggling Finder windows.
The public material is detailed, but this note does not verify the installed app or any file-changing action.
