Project Note

A closer look at LaunchSkills

LaunchSkills is a pack of eight markdown skill files for Claude or Cursor that draft launch copy, including landing-page heroes, Gumroad listings, directory blurbs, badge footers, changelogs, OG titles and waitlist emails.

What it does

LaunchSkills packages the repetitive writing around a small launch into eight files an AI assistant can follow. Each one is a SKILL.md in the folder format Cursor expects, so it can also be pasted straight into Claude. A file states when to use it, what inputs it needs, the steps to follow, the exact output format and a set of hard rules.

The eight jobs are landing-page hero copy, a Gumroad listing, directory blurbs, a badge footer in HTML, changelog notes written for buyers, OG title variants sized for link cards, waitlist emails and a soft cross-sell block. The page shows a sample hero written for one of the maker's other products, with three headline options, a subhead, a call to action and short proof chips.

Who it's for

It suits a solo founder shipping several small digital products who wants the listings and launch emails to sound consistent across them. The page says it's built for founders in China selling in US dollars, though the skills themselves are written in English and work for anyone. If you launch once a year, writing your own prompt is probably enough. If you list products on Gumroad and directories regularly, a reusable set saves rewriting the same instructions.

Buying it

It's a one-time $19 purchase through Gumroad with instant ZIP delivery and a personal license. There are no runtime dependencies and no API keys, since the files are plain markdown your assistant reads. The same shop sells related tools, including a landing page kit, a directory pack and an OG image studio, and the LaunchSkills demo page stays free to browse.
