A closer look at Ramsa Speech

Emirati Arabic text-to-speech for streaming replies, recorded narration and organization-specific custom voices.

Giving a reply an Emirati voice

An application can produce the right reply and still need a voice suited to its audience. Ramsa Speech focuses on Emirati Arabic, with streaming speech for live responses and voice-over for scripts. NextGen Speech AI describes uses ranging from phone greetings to training narration.

Ramsa supplies speech. The connected application manages the conversation, call routing and business logic. A team building an assistant would still need those other parts. ProjectRadar checked the public descriptions, not a working integration or the quality of generated speech.

A custom voice starts with an actor

Ramsa describes custom voice creation from 30 to 60 minutes of an actor's recordings. The organization chooses the actor, arranges the recording and obtains consent for cloning. The stated aim is an exclusive voice that can be used for both live replies and recorded content.

That could suit a team that wants its phone prompts and training material to use the same voice. Exclusivity and permitted uses need to be settled in the service agreement; the public website does not grant a production license.

Plan the integration before committing

The streaming page describes shared-cloud API access and dedicated deployments in a customer's cloud or on premises. The website terms require a separate written agreement for pilots, API access and production use. The pages checked do not provide a public price.

The published privacy policy covers the marketing website and inquiry form, and says customer services may have separate agreements and notices. Confirm how scripts, recordings and generated audio are handled in the proposed deployment before supplying them. Ramsa also cautions that pronunciation, latency and output can vary, so representative names and scripts deserve a check with the intended audience.
