A closer look at RooferForms
A browser-based document builder for roofing contractors that creates editable contracts, proposals, estimates, scopes of work and change orders.
Paperwork for one roofing job
The site is organised around the documents a roofing job produces, roughly in order. An estimate holds measurements, material quantities, labour assumptions and line items. A proposal turns that into something the customer can accept, with scope, materials, timeline and price. The contract draft adds payment terms, warranty language, exclusions and signatures, and change orders cover what shifts during the work. At the end, a certificate of completion records finished work, approved changes, photos and open items.
The sample draft on the homepage shows the level of detail. Its scope runs from removing old shingles and inspecting the decking to underlayment, flashing and vents, and its payment terms are a 30% deposit, a progress payment and the balance on completion.
Free builders and the paid pack
The contract and proposal builders work in the browser without an account. You fill in scope, materials, price, warranty and exclusions, watch a live preview, and download the result as HTML or TXT, print to PDF, or use the free DOCX templates where they're offered. A dedicated change order builder is still in development, so that one is a template for now.
The Pro Scope and Contract Pack is a one-time $29 purchase with no recurring charge. It includes an editable master pack in DOCX and a print-ready PDF, five standalone DOCX files, a shared project information and version-control sheet, a review checklist and a completed example. Paddle handles payment as merchant of record.
What it isn't
The compliance note is direct. The templates are general business documents, not legal, insurance, public adjusting, tax or accounting advice, and the site recommends having final documents reviewed by a qualified local professional. That matters most for the contract draft. The privacy policy, last updated July 29, 2026, says some document fields may be stored in your browser during a session and that the site may collect basic analytics.
