Project Note

A closer look at Zero Kit AI

Zero Kit AI is an AI image and video generator built around presets. Each of its 500+ styles fixes the model, settings and framing, so you supply a photo or a line of text. It also has 13 single-purpose editing tools, from upscaling to object removal. Sign-up gives 10 free credits, and paid plans start at $20 a month for 2,000 credits.

Presets instead of prompts

Zero Kit AI opens on a gallery of styles rather than a prompt box. Each of its 500+ presets is what the site calls a tuned pipeline, with the model, parameters, framing and finishing already set. To get a wedding-style portrait, you upload a photo of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it, pick a few styles and wait for the results. The same pattern covers logos, where a brand name and industry produce several directions with a palette and icon set, and product posters built from a product shot and a list of selling points.

The trade is control for speed. You don't choose the model or tune settings for a preset, which is the point if you just want a usable result. The studio also has plain text-to-image, image-to-image and video modes for people who would rather describe the result themselves.

Single-purpose editing tools

The pricing page counts 13 AI tools, and each has its own page. They cover object and person removal, shadow and text removal, editing text inside an image, inpainting, extending an image past its edges, 4K upscaling, photo enhancement, old-photo restoration and colorizing. Having a separate page per job means you can go straight to, say, clearing a stranger out of a holiday shot without working through the generator first.

Credits, models and your uploads

Everything runs on credits. A new account gets 10. Plus costs $20 a month for 2,000 credits, Pro $40 for 4,000 and Ultra $80 for 8,000, and yearly billing and credit packs are also offered. Paid plans add daily fast-generation credits and a few more models, Kling's among them.

The privacy policy says the provider of the model you choose receives your prompt and any reference media, and it names Google, OpenAI, Volcengine Ark, BytePlus and xAI. It also says Zero Kit doesn't use prompts, uploads or results to train models, and that you can delete your generation records yourself. Many presets start from a photo of a person, so that's worth reading before you upload one.
