Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

Advokat is a free legal reference site in Ukrainian for people and businesses in Ukraine. Instead of quoting statutes, its guides set out what to do: which documents to gather, which deadlines apply, where to file and when a lawyer is worth it. Topics include military, family, inheritance, property, business, criminal, administrative, labor, tax and migration law, plus a section on Lviv's courts. Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed, and the site says it draws on legislation, official registers and court decisions. It's published by the law firm Yudey, and its consultation links go to the firm's own site. The site notes that its guides are general and don't replace individual legal advice.
