Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

Image3D is a web app for getting from a picture to a rough 3D model quickly. You upload a PNG, JPG or WebP of a single subject, or start from a text prompt that first makes a reference image, choose a quality mode and generate, then rotate the result in the browser. Exports come as GLB for web and AR previews, OBJ for Blender, STL for slicer checks and PLY. The site is upfront that output is a draft, not CAD-grade, and that prints still need checks for scale, wall thickness and overhangs. There are no free signup credits: public examples are free to view, Maker is a one-time $9.99 for 1,000 credits that never expire, and Creator and Power are $39.99 and $89.99 a month. A model costs 10, 100 or 350 credits depending on the mode. Its privacy policy says uploaded images are processed for generation and not kept permanently, and lists Firebase, Stripe, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog and Cloudflare as services.
