Project overview
The short version
Lang Study is built around one loop for learning to write Chinese characters: watch, trace, then write on paper. A starter pack of six characters, 人, 口, 日, 月, 山 and 水, shows each one's stroke order, lets you trace it once on screen and saves the strokes you missed into a review queue. You then print a worksheet of the same set and practice slowly by hand, circling the hardest character for next time. After the starter pack, a free path covers 50 HSK1 characters. You pick a session length of 10, 15 or 20 minutes and a use case, whether self-study, a parent coaching at home or a tutor handing work to a student, and the site produces a copy-ready plan with links to the online practice and the printable sheet. Free practice keeps progress in your browser with no checkout. A paid plan at $6.99 a month adds reusable worksheets, review history and custom lists. The privacy policy says the service isn't directed to children under 13, who should use it with an adult.
