Project overview
The short version
Legal HQ is an early-stage venture built around the idea that a business owner in a lawsuit can do much of the record-keeping themselves, so the lawyer bills for judgment instead of rebuilding the file. Its first product is a $99 Starter Kit, a one-time instant download. It contains a ten-step walkthrough covering the case folder, a one-page matter summary, chronology, evidence log, deadlines, decision log and legal spend log, plus a spreadsheet workbook with every tab ready to fill in and a spend tracker that totals itself. An AI Case Folder section supplies instructions and templates for using Claude or ChatGPT, connected to your own email and files, as a case clerk that builds the chronology and logs sourced facts for you to review. There's also guidance on what to hand a lawyer and how to pitch a case to firms on contingency or capped fees. An optional one-hour setup session costs $300. Legal HQ says plainly that it isn't a law firm and doesn't give legal advice, and it's also running a client pilot and recruiting founding counsel.
