Project overview
The short version
OMOPHub gives healthcare developers API access to the OHDSI ATHENA standardized vocabularies, more than 120 of them including SNOMED CT, ICD-10, LOINC and RxNorm. You can search for concepts, follow mappings between vocabularies, resolve FHIR codes to OMOP concepts and pin specific vocabulary releases, without loading and updating a local vocabulary database. There are SDKs for Python, R and TypeScript, a FHIR terminology service and an MCP server so AI agents can look up concepts. The free plan allows 3,000 calls a month, and paid plans run from $39 to $149 a month by call volume. The service handles reference terminology only, not patient data.
