Enter a length and width, a measured area, or combine several shapes and subtract islands or drains, then set the compacted thickness. It returns net area, volume, net tons, a suggested order with a waste allowance (5% by default) and a truckload count, and spells out the full calculation so you can check it. Density defaults to 145 lb per cubic foot, with presets and a custom value, and US or metric units.
