Ownbit
Ownbit is a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet for iPhone and Android, operated by BITTOOL PTE.
Project overview
The short version
Ownbit is a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet for iPhone and Android, operated by BITTOOL PTE. LTD. in Singapore and in business since 2017. Its focus is control rather than trading. Multisignature wallets need two of two, two of three or more keys before funds move, so one stolen phone or seed isn't enough. A spare phone can act as an offline signer that only exchanges QR codes with an online watch wallet. Teams get an Enterprise mode with owner, signer and security admin roles, weighted approvals, whitelists and a browser console, and a Bitcoin inheritance setup passes funds on after a 416-day recovery handover. Seeds are encrypted on the device and no account is needed for a standard wallet. Membership runs $69, $239 or $599 a year after a 7-day trial, and every person who signs in a multisig needs a matching level.
