The short version

Read the full Project Note

PDF Reference Linker handles a narrow, tedious job: making every mention of "Appendix B" or "Exhibit A" in a long PDF clickable. Instead of drawing links one at a time in a PDF editor, you map each label to its destination page once, by typing it, using the document's existing bookmarks or importing a CSV with label and target_page columns. The extension then finds exact whole-word matches in the selectable text and shows each source page, matched text and destination, so you can untick false positives before anything is written. Export creates a separate linked PDF and leaves the original untouched. Scanning, review and the CSV match report are free. The linked-PDF export needs a Pro license at €49 once, covering up to three browser installations. The limits are spelled out: one unsigned, unencrypted PDF with selectable text at a time, up to 50 MiB and 500 pages, no OCR, and each reference must sit on one line. The site says PDF contents stay in the extension and only licensing and checkout go online.
