Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

TeacherGPT is an AI workspace built for elementary teachers in the US, Australia and New Zealand. Instead of a blank chat box, it starts from the thing you need: a lesson plan, a worksheet or handout, a slide deck, a quiz or math game, report card comments, or feedback on student essays against a rubric. A free trial gives 15 credits without a card, and the paid plan covers up to 500 resources a month for $10. It was built by Kelly Jepsen, a designer, and Eden Dowling-Mitchell, a former elementary teacher turned developer. Its privacy policy says requests are processed through OpenAI and Anthropic APIs and asks teachers not to put identifying student details into prompts.
