The short version
TokScript makes transcripts from public TikTok, YouTube and Instagram video links. It uses a video's available captions when it can and runs its own speech recognition on the audio when it can't, then lets you edit the text and export SRT, VTT or TXT with the original timestamps. Videos up to five minutes are free for everyone with no signup or daily quota, one task at a time. For videos up to two hours you sign in and buy a one-time pack: $9 for 10 hours or $29 for 40 hours, valid for a year with no renewal. Anonymous results stay available for 24 hours, signed-in free results for seven days and paid transcripts for 30 days.
