Project overview
The short version
TwinPhone lets you make phone calls from a browser tab. You top up prepaid credit from $10, type a number, and call mobiles and landlines in more than 145 countries, with no SIM card, contract or desktop install. Calls to the US and Canada cost $0.02 a minute, and the rate for any other destination appears before you dial. Calls are encrypted in transit, and the service adjusts audio quality on weak connections. A second product rents real US and Canadian numbers from $3.19 a month, so people can call or text you there and you answer in the browser. Those numbers can receive SMS but can't send it. There's also an iOS app and a business option. TwinPhone can't reach emergency numbers such as 911 or 112. It's run by hrhelperg s.r.o. in Prague, and its privacy policy, updated October 17, 2026, names Telnyx and Twilio as the telephony providers and says personal calls aren't recorded.
