A closer look at Aidrobe

An iPhone and iPad app for browsing clothes, previewing outfits on your photo and buying through the retailer.

Put an outfit on your own photo

Aidrobe takes clothing from its catalog, or an image from another store, and creates an AI outfit preview using your photo. The current listing describes trying several pieces together and comparing the result with the original image side by side. Collections depend on the selected shopping country and clothing preferences.

That is a way to compare outfit ideas before ordering. The app's own listing and terms warn that generated images do not guarantee fit, size or exact appearance. A convincing picture still leaves the size chart and the real garment to check.

The retailer handles the purchase

For supported retail items, Aidrobe opens the brand or retailer in a browser. That seller sets the clothing price and handles delivery and returns. Aidrobe's charges concern the try-on service, separate from buying the clothes.

Selected catalog items are free to try. Optional subscriptions and credit packs are billed through Apple, with current local prices shown in the app. The terms say subscription credits expire with their billing period, while one-time pack credits remain available while the account is active. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through Apple.

The current US App Store listing supports iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 26 or later. The public pages and listing were inspected for this note; image generation and purchases were not tested.

Photos go through cloud services

The July 14 privacy policy names Google Gemini for photo processing and Google Cloud Storage for uploaded and generated images. It also describes account and purchase records and PostHog usage analytics.

Account deletion has a 90-day grace period that can be canceled by signing in again. The policy allows some records to remain for legal compliance, fraud prevention or other stated business purposes. The terms prohibit photos of minors and require consent for other people's photos.
