FOX Tasks. includes an "Enough for today" view that focuses on up to three tasks. The rest stay in Notes & Tasks. That gives a long list somewhere to live without making every unfinished errand part of today's plan.

Daily goals have a separate streak view and adjustable badge milestones. They cover repeating habits, while ordinary tasks can have their own due dates, reminders and recurrence rules. A reminder can be set independently of a deadline, a useful distinction for something that needs preparation before it is due.

The app lets you hide sections and drag overview cards into a different order. You can choose one to six navigation items, edit headings and change the appearance of widgets. Someone using only notes and tasks can keep tools for work hours out of the way; someone planning shifts can bring those tools forward.

The current App Store listing requires iOS 18 or later and supports English and German. Optional shift alarms need iOS 26.1 and separate permission. The website offers a browser simulation with fictional data, which does not schedule real alarms. Alarm behavior and widget refreshes were not tested in the iPhone app.

The official pages describe FOX Tasks. as free, without ads, subscriptions or a required account. Tasks, notes, goals and work records stay on the iPhone, with no app-provided cloud sync. The privacy policy notes that Apple device backups follow your own settings and can outlast an app deletion.

Local planning does not make every optional feature offline. Weather sends a selected place to Open-Meteo. Submitted feedback, news and authorized push notifications use external services too. The policy distinguishes those connections from the tasks and notes stored on the phone.
