Alive Quit Smoking Gradually
Alive pairs a cigarette log with planned waiting times and weekly phases. The developer says cigarette-log events go to Firebase Analytics, and advertising attribution identifies ad-driven downloads.

A closer look at Alive Quit Smoking Gradually
A cigarette log with planned waiting intervals, weekly reduction phases and estimated savings.
A count beside a waiting timer
Recording a cigarette tells you what happened. Alive adds a planned interval before the next one, with today's count and daily limit on the same screen. Its public walkthrough starts with the user's smoking habits, then builds a gradual plan around weekly phases. That combination gives an adult tracking their cigarette use a place to compare a record with a plan.
At the end of a week, the user can advance or stay in the current phase. The app also displays cigarettes avoided and estimated savings. These are descriptions from the official site and store listings. ProjectRadar did not use the app or check its calculations, and the material reviewed does not establish a quit rate or treatment of withdrawal or anxiety.
Budget beyond the first week
Alive is available for iPhone, iPad and Android. The store descriptions offer the first week free, followed by paid plans. Check the current purchase terms on your device before starting a plan that extends beyond the trial.
The developer describes Alive as a supporting tool, not medical treatment.
Cigarette logging also creates analytics events
In an October 9 clarification, the developer told ProjectRadar that Alive requires no account, email address or contact details, and asks for a first name to personalize the experience. The developer also said events such as logging a cigarette go to Firebase Analytics for aggregate app-usage statistics. Advertising attribution identifies whether a download came from a specific ad.
That explanation does not mean every smoking-related event stays on the phone. It does not specify the full event payloads, associated identifiers or retention periods. The linked privacy policy remains general rather than explaining those details for cigarette logs.
The store disclosures also differ. Apple's listing identifies identifiers, usage data and diagnostics as potentially used for tracking and linked to identity. Google Play currently declares no data collected or shared. These are developer-provided labels with platform-specific definitions, not an independent check of the implementation.
