A closer look at ChartSeats: Seating Chart

A visual seating-chart app for arranging event tables, grouping guests and previewing a shareable plan on iPhone.

Move the guests with the tables

ChartSeats puts a reception guest list beside a visual canvas with round, row and head tables. Guests can have groups, notes and VIP markers, then move into seats by tapping or dragging. That gives a host a way to keep family groups visible while trying a different arrangement.

Preview the handoff

The app describes an export preview for sharing a chart with hosts or vendors. The website also mentions a table list.

The paid export details need a closer look before purchase. The App Store says Premium unlocks expanded capacity and clean export options, while the website calls PDF and watermark-free exports planned. Neither page gives a clear current guest limit or price.

Guest details and purchase data

The US listing is free to download with in-app purchases and requires iOS 17 or later. The developer says no account is required for core planning and guest details stay on the device by default. Its privacy policy separately says Apple, Google and RevenueCat may process purchase status and subscription history if Premium is enabled.
