Chinese Knot DIY Designer

Chinese Knot DIY Designer is a free browser tool for planning the look of a decorative Chinese knot. You start from a basic knot, add more elements below it from a set of 18 (cross knots, button knots, clover and good-luck knots among them) and finish with one of five tassel styles. Each piece can be recolored and resized, connected to the next or moved freely, and you can add a greeting of up to 120 characters in Chinese, English or another language on an ivory, white, sage, rose or transparent background. The result downloads as PNG, transparent PNG or SVG with no account, and the draft stays in your browser. The site is clear about the limit: it makes artwork for cards and ornament ideas, not a step-by-step tying diagram or cord-length plan. For that, the same site has 3D tutorials that let you rotate eight finished knots and follow each cord through its construction.
