Project overview
The short version
PokerChip.live is a browser app for home poker nights when nobody has a chip set or wants to count chips at the end. The host creates a game room, sets the buy-in, blinds and maximum players, and shares a QR code or room code. Players open the link on their phones with no app to install, receive their starting stacks and use the app to bet, raise or fold, while a virtual table shows positions, stacks, the dealer button and the pot. Rebuys and mid-game joins are handled, and settlement is calculated at the end. It is a score and chip tracker only and doesn't handle real money. The free plan has ads, unlimited rooms, up to eight players and a seven-day history; Pro, at $4.90 a month or $41.20 a year, removes ads and adds clubs, season standings and data export.
