Project overview
The short version
TriviaBeam is a web app for hosting Jeopardy-style quiz nights at home, in a classroom or at work. You build a board of categories, clues and point values from scratch, from a CSV or from starter packs, then open a room. Players scan a QR code or type a six-character code on their phones, with no app or account, and their phones become buzzers. The host screen shows the answers and lets you judge responses and fix scores, while the projector only shows clues and the leaderboard. You can use buzzer lockout or let everyone answer. The free plan allows unlimited self-made games, five teams per room and five starter packs. Pro is $12 a month, or $8 billed yearly, for 22 ready-made packs, more than 485 curated questions and rooms of up to 300 teams. Hosts sign in with Google.
