Project overview

The short version

Read the full Project Note

Slingdrop turns a file or folder into a browser link that recipients can open without an account. What sets it apart from a plain file-sharing service is the review layer. Recipients can pin a comment to an area of an image, a page of a PDF or a moment in a video or song, then approve the work or ask for changes. When you upload a revision, it goes behind the same link, so nobody ends up comparing attachments from three different emails. The free plan keeps files until you delete them, with 2 GB of storage and up to 1 GB per drop. Pro is $6 a month and Team is $25 a month for five seats, and for now both are bought through the iPhone or Android app. Developers get two extras: a command that hosts images, fonts and media on CDN links, and an MCP connection so Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT can share what they built for you to comment on. The service is run by Sansa Group AB in Sweden.
