Project overview
The short version
Sprita is a browser tool for making animated 2D characters for games. You describe a character or upload one, confirm it, pick an action such as idle, walk, run, attack, cast or hit, and Sprita generates a short continuous clip. You then extract frames, remove the green or blue background, check edges and feet, preview the loop and export a PNG sprite sheet. Only cloud image and motion generation uses credits. Memberships cost $9, $19 or $39 a month for 40, 100 or 200 credits, a one-time $10 pack adds 40 credits that don't expire, and the first starter project is free after sign-in. Users must be 18 or older, and the terms say you need your own rights to any character you animate.
