A closer look at NOS Workspace
NOS Workspace turns HTML files into shareable links that open on any device. Click text in the preview to edit it in place, and the link stays the same. Free for three links; paid plans from $9 a month.
The HTML file problem
AI assistants are happy to hand you a quarterly report or a slide deck as a single HTML file. Then you try to share it. Email it and the recipient's phone downloads it with nothing to open it. Spot a typo and the usual fix is asking the AI again, which can change things you didn't want changed. The homepage acts out both problems in a mock chat thread, and NOS Workspace is built to remove them.
You paste or upload the HTML, and it appears as a live preview. Click any text on the page and type the correction. NOS writes the edit back into the original HTML. You can try this without signing up. When you're ready to share, you sign in and get a link like nos-workspace.com/d/ followed by a short code. It opens in any browser, readers don't need an account, and the link doesn't change when you edit the page again.
Scripts and safety
Charts, animations and small calculators keep running, which matters for the dashboards and interactive decks people now generate. NOS serves published pages from a separate, sandboxed domain under a content security policy, so a page's scripts can't reach your signed-in session. The same separation is why opening someone else's shared file is safe, according to the FAQ.
Published documents also record views, including first and returning visits and the referring source, so you can see whether anyone opened the report. The privacy policy says view logs are kept for up to 24 months.
Workspace and plans
Beyond single links, the workspace holds notes and HTML pages in folders, with version history, so a team's reports live in one place instead of a downloads folder of final_v8 files. The Team plan adds shared workspaces, live co-editing and editor or read-only roles.
The free plan allows three share links at a time. Personal is $9 a month for unlimited links and no NOS badge, and Team is $19 per member, both 50% off at launch with a further 20% off annual billing. NOS Workspace is run by Hoyeon Yeo, an individual in South Korea, and content is hosted on Google Firebase. The policy says your content isn't used to train AI models.
