Long-form Project Note
A closer look at PrepGo
An AP study website with topic guides, flashcards, practice quizzes and mock-exam offerings.
This note reflects a first-time user perspective.
Find a topic before starting a study session
PrepGo organizes its course catalogue into units and individual topics. On the public Calculus AB course page, limits and continuity lead into more specific lessons, with adjacent topics available in a sidebar. That structure gives a student a practical way to return to a particular concept instead of starting from a general study dashboard.
A lesson and quiz are visible before signup
The Defining Limits and Using Limit Notation lesson opened without an account. It included definitions, examples and separate tabs for flashcards and practice. The practice page also opened publicly and showed a multiple-choice question alongside a longer question-and-explanation section. No answers were submitted and no mock exam was completed.
The homepage describes free core study tools and daily practice, with a Plus upgrade for additional access. Exact account limits and the paid experience were not established during this visit.
Check coverage against the course you are taking
The Calculus AB overview text and its statistics displayed different topic totals during this visit. Students and teachers should inspect the actual lessons they need instead of treating a catalogue count as proof of complete coverage.
PrepGo labels its material as expert verified, but this first look does not establish the contributors' qualifications, full curriculum alignment or an effect on exam scores. The site's footer states that the College Board does not endorse the product. Its visible lesson structure is a useful starting point for evaluating it as supplementary study material.
