A closer look at GrindSAT

A free browser SAT practice site with topic and difficulty filters, explanations and four study games.

Choose the question type

GrindSAT, which also uses the name SAT Made Easy, puts subject, domain and difficulty controls beside its browser practice material. That gives a session a specific target, such as a math topic that needs more work. The site offers explanations and does not require an account to practice.

Four game modes

The four game tabs are SAT Quest, SAT Run, Margin Guard and Ink Rally. The site describes SAT Run as a shooter platformer, Margin Guard as tower defense and Ink Rally as racing. Gameplay and answer accuracy were not tested here.

GrindSAT says it is independent of College Board and is not endorsed by it. Its terms do not promise that practice scores or explanations predict a real SAT result.

Where progress is stored

The privacy policy, dated October 17, 2026, says answer history and game progress are kept in browser storage. It says optional Google/Firebase cloud sync is disabled because Firebase is not configured. Clearing local storage can remove that progress.

The webpage still contacts outside services, including College Board's question servers, Desmos, CDNs and Vercel analytics and hosting. Live races use PeerJS and WebRTC to connect browsers.
