Transglot
Transglot translates the text inside software, from locale files to storefront copy, and checks every string for broken placeholders, plurals, glossary terms and length before writing it back.

A closer look at Transglot
AI translation for app, website and store strings, with placeholder, plural, glossary and length checks before anything ships.
What it does
Transglot is built for the moment a release is finished except for the translated files. You point its CLI at a project with npx transglot init. Then push sends changed strings to be drafted into every language you named, and pull writes the results back into your locale files. The same work can run from a GitHub Action, the REST API, webhooks or an MCP server with 17 tools, or through one of 41 integrations that include GitHub, GitLab, Shopify, WordPress, Contentful and Figma. A browser import handles 20 file formats, such as JSON, YAML, XLIFF, .strings, .po and .xlsx, and shows a preview before anything is written.
The checking is what sets it apart. Every translated row passes four automatic gates for placeholders, plural forms, glossary terms and length. If a placeholder or plural breaks, or a forbidden term shows up, Transglot tries one repair and checks again. If that fails, the row is refused instead of shipped. A row that only runs long is still written. Strings you've already translated are reused from memory and don't count against your allowance.
Two engines and a reviewer
Transglot calls its engine Glossa. Glossa Flux is the fast pass that runs on every push, on every plan. Glossa Deep is a slower quality pass with one automatic retry, meant for the strings where wording matters most, and the about page says those can go to a human reviewer along with a screenshot of where the text appears. Glossa Deep isn't included on the Starter plan. The CLI, MCP server and SDKs are MIT-licensed on npm, but the hosted platform isn't open source and there's no self-hosted version.
Plans
The free plan gives 100,000 words to start, 25,000 at sign-up and 75,000 after a phone check, then 10,000 words a month with no card. A free project holds the source plus 14 target languages, with three editor seats. Starter is $19 a month, or $15 a month billed annually, for 300,000 words. Team is $49, or $39 billed annually, Business is $149 a month, and Enterprise is priced on request. Paid plans start with a 14-day trial and charge $0.0008 a word past the allowance, up to a spend cap you set.
Your strings and the shared memory
The privacy policy, effective November 5, 2026, says your content isn't used to train models or for advertising. Data is stored on AWS in one region, and the trust page lists how long things are kept, such as 90 days for screenshots and assistant conversations. One setting is worth checking before you connect a real project. The exact-match translation memory is a pool shared across customers, with no owner attached, and each project can leave it with one switch. On the marketing site, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Smartlook session recording stay off until you accept them.
