A closer look at Big Walk Guide
Big Walk Guide is a free, unofficial fan resource for Big Walk with English and Simplified Chinese puzzle walkthroughs, a coordinate finder for player-reported puzzle locations and a signal encoder for planning gestures or yes/no codes with teammates.
What it does
Big Walk is an online co-op game for 2 to 12 players, built around cooperation and communication, and its puzzles are where groups tend to get stuck. Big Walk Guide is a fan site built around that moment. Each puzzle guide opens with a one-line answer, then steps, a diagram of who needs to communicate what, common blockers, and a gameplay video where one exists. There are 39 guides, four of them still outlines, grouped by progress from the drawbridge through the red, green, yellow, blue and black towers to the endgame. The whole site is available in English and Simplified Chinese.
Two tools go beyond a written walkthrough. The coordinate finder takes the two numbers shown on your screen and returns the nearest mapped location, how far off it is and which guide to read. The site is careful here: its points come from player reports, each is labelled with its source status, and the distances aren't walking distances. The signal encoder solves a different problem. Tell it how many distinct answers your team needs to pass along, and it computes a scheme of numbered gestures or yes/no signals, such as three raises of the left hand, so it can help on puzzles nobody has written up yet.
Sources and trust
The site leans on primary material where it can. Achievement completion rates come from Valve's public endpoint, for example 7.1% of owners reaching the true ending. The official FAQ is decoded line by line with the original wording beside each entry, and the patch history is copied from the developer's page. Community guides it draws on are graded on a sources page, single-source claims are labelled, and the editor's own corrections are written into the entries they change.
Who it is for
Big Walk groups who want a nudge on one puzzle without reading spoilers for the rest, and players who handle the talking and want a clear signalling plan. It doesn't replace the game and doesn't cover every coordinate. There's no account and no advertising. Its analytics tools, Microsoft Clarity session replays and PostHog page counts, stay off until you allow them. The site is run by Jeff Song in Chongqing and states that it isn't affiliated with House House or Panic.
