DockReady centers on a familiar shipping-desk problem: the paperwork is nearly ready, but a customer purchase order or carrier reference is missing. A shipment queue shows which loads need attention, and configured rules decide whether a missing field blocks the bill of lading, raises a warning or remains guidance.

The public walkthrough follows a fictional shipment held for two missing references. After those fields are filled, the document becomes available. The page includes the resulting sample PDF, so a prospective customer can see what the workflow produces.

The CSV import is a practical starting point, but its format deserves a close look. DockReady’s example uses one row per shipment, a whole-number pallet count and a total weight in pounds. The importer divides that weight equally across the pallets.

Repeated shipment IDs are not combined into order lines. A team exporting one row per item, or shipping pallets with different weights, should confirm how to reshape that data or arrange a connector before subscribing. This is a more useful fit check than the size of the shipment queue alone.

DockReady checks whether the configured information is present. Its walkthrough explicitly says it does not independently verify that a supplied reference is correct. The shipping team still needs to review the addresses, freight details and references on the document.
