Project Note

A closer look at Feldy

Feldy is a phone-based program of slow, guided Feldenkrais lessons. You lie down, press play and follow a voice through small movements, with no stretching or pushing, plus short morning and bedtime routines. It runs as a five-stage program with a 7-day free trial.

Movement without exercise

Feldy is built for people who don't want a workout. Its lessons come from the Feldenkrais Method, which uses slow, small movements and attention to how they feel rather than stretching or strength. You lie down wherever is comfortable, press play and follow the voice of teacher Chava. If a movement doesn't feel good, you skip it. The site says most people notice something shift by the time they stand up, and over time in everyday moves like getting out of a chair or turning in bed.

The app is designed to be used without looking at it. The home screen shows today's lesson, there are short morning routines for stiffness and bedtime routines for sleep, and progress through the program is shown so you can pick up where you left off.

Who it's aimed at

The site lists people living with lower back pain, knee or hip pain, frozen shoulder, neck tension, stiffness after 60, recovery from injury, fibromyalgia, hypermobility, menopause and stress. It cites studies, including a 2025 trial in older women and a 2022 review of 16 trials, about pain, balance and mobility. It's also clear that Feldenkrais is a way of learning easier movement, not a medical treatment, so it's not a substitute for a doctor or physical therapist.

Program and pricing

Feldy is a self-paced program rather than a content library. It runs through five progressive stages of audio lessons that build on each other, plus the daily rituals. Access is by subscription after a 7-day free trial, with no card required to start.

Health data and privacy

Because users describe conditions and symptoms to personalize lessons, the privacy policy treats that as sensitive health-related data, used only to recommend lessons and tailor emails, and removable from your profile. It names its providers: Supabase for the database, Vercel for hosting, Lemon Squeezy for payments, Resend for email, Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and Google's Gemini API to help write some emails. Gemini receives only the movement concerns you select, such as lower back, not your name or email, and Google keeps it briefly for misuse detection. The service is for adults 18 and over.
