HivePic doesn't make the model. It's a browser interface to ByteDance's Seedance 2.5, run on fal.ai, with Seedance 2.0 Fast as a cheaper 720p option. You write a prompt in any language or start from an image, choose resolution, length, aspect ratio and whether you want audio, and the form shows the credit cost before you press Generate. The homepage samples are real generations shown with their full prompts, which is a fair way to judge the model before spending anything.

Pricing is per second of video. Seedance 2.5 costs 14 credits a second at 480p, 29 at 720p and 70 at 1080p. Credits come in one-time packs of 200 for $9.99, 650 for $29.99 and 1,400 for $59.99, and the same balance also covers image generation. They last 12 months, and unused credits aren't refundable. At the starter rate, a 5-second 720p clip (145 credits) works out to about $7.25. The site says credits come back if a generation fails.

New accounts get one free credit. That won't cover a clip on its own, since the cheapest option, 4 seconds at 480p, takes 56.

The privacy policy (updated October 14, 2026) sets a short clock. Generated videos and uploaded images are deleted seven days after creation, public gallery copies included, so save anything you want. Prompts go to fal.ai for rendering, and SeeAPI screens prompts and outputs before and after generation. The policy rules out non-consensual intimate imagery and deepfakes of real people made without their consent. Sign-in is Google only, and payments go through Waffo as merchant of record.
