Browser-based PDF, image, text, media and office utilities, with free access and per-tool processing notes.
Decide what a Word conversion should preserve
Turning a PDF into a Word file can mean two different things. EveryTool4U's PDF to Word page offers editable text for changing the wording, or a layout-preserving mode that puts each page into the document as an image. The second option is not editable text.
The page also explains that a scan without a text layer needs OCR before its text can be converted. A .docx file can contain page images instead of editable paragraphs. Check what the original PDF contains before expecting to recover its wording.
Keep the small file jobs together
The broader site groups PDF, image, video, text and office utilities, plus calculators and generators. Its search and category links give a reader a way to find a specific task without opening an account. The homepage currently says the listed browser tools are free without a paid subscription.
The Merge PDF page describes selecting several PDFs, arranging their order and combining them, with related links for splitting, compression and page management. Report chapters saved as separate PDFs could be assembled this way. The site warns that browser memory, device speed and file structure can limit a job.
Check where this tool sends data
EveryTool4U's privacy policy separates tools marked local from network-dependent functions. It says most PDF, Office, image and video tools process selected files in browser memory. Mortgage rates, IP lookup and temporary email contact remote services, which can receive the queried data and connection information.
Even a local file tool can load libraries, fonts and advertising resources over the network. The site also has separate analytics and advertising choices.
Read the specific page's disclosure before using a sensitive document, and review the result before passing it on. A local-processing label describes where the file work happens; it does not establish that a conversion is accurate or that the webpage makes no outside requests.
