A closer look at Finvia

Track stocks, funds, currencies and commodities by hand, with return metrics and 29 calculators free. Premium adds AI analyses and alerts.

Tracking a portfolio by hand

Finvia is a portfolio tracker for iPhone and Android where you enter every purchase and sale yourself. It doesn't connect to a bank or brokerage, and its privacy policy says it never asks for bank passwords, brokerage credentials or card PINs. Setup takes longer than with a linked account, but no other company gets login access to your money. You can keep several portfolios with stocks, funds, currencies, commodities and Eurobonds, and the App Store listing adds cryptocurrencies. Values can be shown in USD, EUR, TRY and other currencies, and you can start without registering.

For each portfolio it shows average cost, realized and unrealized profit or loss, net contributions and two return figures. TWR measures how the holdings themselves performed. XIRR also accounts for when you added or withdrew money, so it reflects your own timing. There are 29 calculators for returns and goal planning as well.

Free and Premium

The free version has no limit on portfolios or assets, includes the tracking, return metrics and calculators, and shows ads. Premium costs $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year on the English site, or 79.99 and 799.99 Turkish lira in the Turkish App Store. It adds daily, weekly and monthly AI analyses of the portfolio, watchlists with price and drawdown alerts, PDF reports, backup and import or export, automatic cash-account entries and an ad-free app.

The trial length depends on which page you read. The website offers 3 days of Premium without payment details and says you won't be charged when it ends, while the App Store listing says new installs get 14 days. The FAQ says Finvia doesn't give investment advice and that its analyses and comparisons are for information only.

Who runs it and where data goes

The App Store lists Tarik Kadir Gencal as the developer, and Google Play shows InciApp with an address in İzmit, Türkiye. The website itself names no company. Google Play showed 100+ downloads and an update on November 1, 2026.

The privacy policy, updated August 4, 2026, covers contact, technical and usage data and lists rights under Türkiye's personal data law. It says the free version shows Google AdMob ads and that your portfolios, amounts, quantities and notes aren't sent to the ad network. The App Store listing says records are "primarily stored on your device." The policy doesn't explain where portfolio data goes when you use Premium backup or the AI analyses, or which AI service produces them, so that's worth asking about before you enter holdings you'd rather keep private.
