Project Note

A closer look at SDOS

SDOS is a Windows app for small businesses and independent sellers. You log orders and notes by date and hour, send follow-ups to a planner, keep a client base and product catalog with stock, prepare invoices and run reports. Version 1.0 keeps your records on your own computer with JSON backup and restore. There's a 7-day free trial, then plans from $7.99 a month or $69 a year.

What it does

SDOS is built around a day planner for orders. The Order / Notes screen is where you start: pick a date and hour, then record an order, task or note. Add the client, goods, quantities and prices, and the total is worked out for you. If something needs a follow-up, the To Planner button moves it onto a separate planner so the important items stay visible.

The other modules cover the rest of a small business's paperwork. There's a client base, a product catalog that tracks stock, invoices you can prepare and copy, print or send through the system share menu, Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber or email, and reports. The site says it installs without complex setup and needs no technical knowledge.

Where your data lives

The documentation says version 1.0 works with local data, and cloud sign-in and server-side backup are planned for later. Until then, it tells users to run Backup / Restore regularly, which exports and imports a JSON file, and not to rely on local storage alone for long-term critical records. That's worth taking seriously if your invoices live nowhere else.

The privacy policy, last updated September 13, 2026, covers the account side. It lists your email and sign-in, handled by Supabase, your subscription status, with payments through Paddle as merchant of record, technical logs, and cookieless site statistics. It doesn't describe the client and order records themselves, which matches the docs' description of them staying on your computer. The data controller is Vectorum LLC, registered in Odesa, Ukraine. The installer is code-signed by Vectorum with a certificate from SSL.com, so Windows shows the publisher during installation.

Pricing and platform

SDOS runs on Windows only. The 7-day trial needs an email address and no card. After that, it's $7.99 a month, $39 for six months or $69 a year, with every feature included in each plan.
