A closer look at HawkOVR
HawkOVR is a free, independently maintained Windows x64 overlay for Diablo IV. Its public pages show World Boss, Realmwalker, and Helltide countdowns, along with map indicators, loot filters, actor information, and configurable display options. The project also documents an optional visual behavior-tree system that can trigger skills and item-pickup actions. It is not affiliated with Blizzard.
This note reflects a first-time user perspective.
What caught my eye
Keeping event timers and Helltide targets visible can save players from bouncing between the game and another window. HawkOVR also goes beyond information display. Its behavior-tree profiles can perform game actions, and that changes the risk. Players should review those automation tools separately against Blizzard's current service and fair-play rules.
How HawkOVR works
The public site shows overlays for World Boss, Realmwalker, and Helltide countdowns, plus actor details, map and minimap information, loot filters, and Helltide targets.
A separate automation system uses local behavior-tree profiles, conditions, skill actions, item-pickup actions, and an on-demand script catalog. New automation profiles are described as disabled by default.

HawkOVR is for Diablo IV players who want event timing and Helltide information visible without switching windows.
Anyone considering it should read the full capability list before downloading. Informational overlays and automated game actions carry different risks, and Project Radar did not verify either against Blizzard's current rules.
